What is it about staying in a cabin? Especially one with unique, rustic features.
Unlike a hotel where it’s mostly about “where to lay my head at night,” the choice to rent a vacation home, especially a log cabin, offers a true home away from home feel.
Most people purposely build cabins in places offering seclusion and serenity. Many can be found near mountains, lakes and streams, therefore providing a much more ‘one with nature’ feel, not to mention those that offer hot tubs and other amenities to make your stay even more enjoyable.
We’ve looked at some lovely log cabin vacation rental homes that fall into the category of rustic and offer a romantic getaway for two or a wonderful place for family or close friends to escape the chaos and fast pace of daily living. Some are ideal for spring visits, others for summer lake time, autumn to take in the fall colors, or to experience the magic of a fireplace with snowfall just outside your window.
Check these awesome places out for a weekend escape or a longer visit to a more remote location you’ve wished to visit.
