With the Euro and US Dollar now practically at par, travelers will see more value on their European vacations.

Mallorca gained recognition as a top destination for 2025, and the Balearics reached tourism records in 2024. This stunning Mediterranean island is having its moment; understandably so, especially if you have been there as my friends say.

Mallorca (or Majorca) is the largest island in the Balearic chain located in the Mediterranean Sea and part of Spain. It’s stunning beaches, rugged mountains, charming villages and vibrant night life make it a popular and well-loved destination. The island is also known for its crystal-clear waters ideal for swimming, snorkeling and diving.

To meet growing demand of interested travelers to Mallorca, United Airlines is increasing the number of direct flights from New York to Palma this summer as part of its 2025 transatlantic schedule that will be the largest in history to date.

Just in time for the season, Jumeirah Mallorca, set high on Mallorca’s northwest coast, is re-opening on March 18, 2025, and inviting guests to experience relaxation with breathtaking views and sink into the peaceful rhythm of island life.

The 121-room resort on the cliffs of the Tramuntana mountains is home to three gorgeous pools, five restaurants and bars, and its healthy-living inspired Talise Spa with treatments that champion local products from its citrus, almond and olive trees.

Guests can choose between deluxe sea or mountain view rooms, premium rooms, suites and signature suites, all splendidly appointed with natural décor to reflect the natural and beautiful surroundings and balconies.

Other property amenities include its signature restaurant Cap Roig, synonymous with fresh local seafood with magnificent sea views. The resort has a fully-equipped gym along with a clifftop spa and whirlpool with the spa offering a number of beauty treatments and body massage.

  • Cycling through the heart of Mallorca, surrounded by vineyards and experiencing the island’s traditional way of life
  • Private helicopter tours offering unparalleled perspective of the diverse beauty and hidden gems of Palma de Mallorca’a skyline
  • Superyacht cruises uncovering pristine ecosystems, alluring sea caves, scenic landscapes, crystal-clear blue waters and historic sites on the northern coast of the island
  • A 4×4 hairpin drive via a legendary motorsports route through the dramatic cliffs of the Tramuntana mountains, culminating at the picturesque Sa Calobra Bay
  • Sound bathing walks at Torre Picada through coastal forests in a ritual designed to calm the mind and reconnect the spirit with nature
  • Finca Son Moragues workshops ranging from ceramic classes, paella cooking and olive oil creation, exploring culture and craftsmanship on a picturesque estate
