The location is perfect. While a myriad of hotels line the beaches of Cancun, Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun all-inclusive lies at the north end of the most exclusive beach in the area, providing stunning views of the bay of Isla Mujeres.
I visited this magnificent beach resort during COVID as Mexico hotels did an incredible job with safety protocols and Grand Fiesta’s couldn’t have been more impressive. From the perspectives of both a travel writer and 35-years as a nurse, I gave this resort an A+ for its adherence to safety standards and the confidence it instilled in its guests.
But it was the overall feel of the resort itself and the amazing services it provided that was most impressive. It’s a place I’ve recommended to others, and one I’d happily return to again.

Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun all-inclusive is an unpretentious luxury spa resort with a classy casual elegance and a relaxed coastal vibe. The resort boasts 602 all-suite oceanfront, and ocean view one-and-two-bedroom suites, each with a private terrace overlooking the tourmaline waters of the Mexican Caribbean.
If you’re really into treating the family, you can book the Infinite Ocean Front three or four-bedroom penthouse which can sleep seven or 10 respectively.
I was also impressed by the lobby and hallways of the resort with their lush, cascading live greenery.
The resort is perfect for couples, families, honeymooners, and weddings. Sunsets here on Coral Beach are simply breathtaking.
I loved my one-bedroom suite and the incredible views I woke up to each morning. The oceanfront king featured marble floors, pastel colors and a private balcony furnished with recliners, table and chairs overlooking the beach.
Bed linens were satiny and luxurious and the marble bathroom with a dressing room, double washbasin, hot tub and separate shower was spacious with soft oversized towels. A loft living room was a special treat. As part of the all-inclusive, the room contained a fully-stocked mini bar with plenty of snack items, and a bottle of wine.
Housekeeping comes twice daily, once in the morning and again in the evening for a special turndown service.

These include a world-class fitness center overlooking the Caribbean Sea and complimentary marina activities such as kayaks, paddleboards, and snorkel gear. Depending on your selected suite package, guests may have access to a 30-minute wave runner experience along with two hydrotherapy sessions, and more.
The resort sports a large, meandering, sparkling, lagoon-like swimming pool surrounded by swaying palms and a tropical palapa-roofed swim-up bar.
A secluded, private stretch of white sand offers plenty of chairs and umbrellas for guests. Even the lifeguard stand has its own palapa thatched-roof. Luxury day beds and beach cabanas can be reserved for an extra fee — but amazingly, this amenity also includes massages, sparkling wine, snacks, and more.
The Coral KidZ Club provides a myriad of activities designed for children aged 3 to 12. The club recently completed a $2 million renovation incorporating the latest technology trends. If I were a kid again, I’d sure love hanging out here.

Dining at the Resort
My impression of the seven incredible dining venues at Grand Fiesta is that this isn’t just about the impressive cuisine (though it is quite impressive). Rather, this is a total foodie immersion experience— from the cozy, comfortable ambiance of the lobby bar, and festive bikini beach bar, and distinguished themed restaurants.
Dinner at La Joya, which means ‘The Table,’ is an unforgettable digital, interactive affair taking guests on a journey through the history of the Yucatan Peninsula accompanied by an 8-course gourmet dinner. This experience showcases traditional regional foods matched with hand-selected wines and artisanal beverages.
All while a magical table takes diners on a cinematic historic journey through time.

Rejuvenate at Gem Spa
One of the most beautiful spas in Latin America and the Caribbean, the 40,000-square-foot cosmopolitan-chic Gem Spa offers an incredible array of personal pampering treatments. With 26 rooms integrating marble floors, Italian mosaics, fine woods, and waterfalls, the spa’s myriad of choices range from chakra-balancing to hydrotherapy rituals, and signature massages.
Gem is truly a transformative, relaxing, impressive, and unforgettable Zen-like experience. This spa also recently underwent a multi-million-dollar renovation, and the results are amazing.
One of the newest must-dos at the resort is to reserve a spa dinner. Guests can finish their relaxing spa treatments, then head to a private, candlelit table overlooking the sparkling hydrotherapy pool while still in their comfortable robes. This multi-course. small-plate, romantic dinner accompanied by wine and cocktails becomes the perfect finish to an absolutely perfect day.
To me, if you’re heading to Cancun for a getaway, make it special. The location, venue, dining and service at Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun all-inclusive is like no other hotel or resort I’ve stayed at in Cancun.
