Marriott Vacation Club Pulse is an exciting extension to the Marriott Vacation Club brand featuring properties embracing the spirit and culture of their urban locations and creating an authentic sense of place while delivering easy access to local attractions and transportation. They truly capture the unique “pulse” of each city.
Pulse is a collection of six properties in Boston, Miami, New York City, San Francisco, San Diego and Washington, D.C.
Sometimes, the hotels themselves are landmarks. For example, the location in Washington, D.C. is at the historic Mayflower Hotel which opened in 1925.
As Marriott Vacation Club owners, my husband and I have stayed at a few of these Marriott Vacation Club Pulse properties. Our goal is to eventually experience all six. After all, who wouldn’t want to visit these amazing locations – some of our very favorite U.S. cities!
Marriott Vacation Club Pulse Custom House Boston

This elegant urban retreat’s impeccable style and unbeatable location make it the perfect place to relive America’s colonial past. We love Boston’s charming cobblestone squares and notable landmarks.
The 26th-floor observation deck at the Custom House offers panoramic views of the city, while the rotunda and ground floor are adorned with masterpieces on loan from the Lannan Ship Model Gallery of Boston.
One-bedroom luxury suites can sleep up to four guests and include complimentary Wi-Fi, a full kitchenette, separate living and sleeping areas and flat-screen TVs.
Kids and adults alike will love features like an on-site movie theater and game room. There’s also a fitness center on-site.
The Mayflower, Washington, D.C.

Gorgeously designed rooms and suites feature plush bedding, high-end bath products, and high-speed internet. Guests can take advantage of convenient access to amenities and restaurants such as The Mayflower Hotel’s lively American brasserie, EDGAR Bar & Kitchen.
Because of its ideal location, one half mile from the White House, local attractions, museums, shopping, dining and more can be found steps outside the lobby.
Marriott Pulse New York City
Most travelers planning a trip to the Big Apple know that accommodations here can be expensive and cramped. Enter Marriott Pulse New York City in Midtown Manhattan’s Fashion District. In this trendy vacation spot, guests find themselves near New York City subway lines, Penn Station and Grand Central Station. The venue also offers nearby access to Madison Square Garden, Times Square, Bryant Park, Central Park and the shops of Madison Avenue.
Evening cocktails taste even better at Pulse’s rooftop bar, Top of the Strand, overlooking the Empire State Building.

Even though we are San Diego residents, we loved our stay at Marriott Pulse in San Diego.
The vacation ownership property puts guests in the heart of downtown. Blending San Diego’s historic ambiance and urban vibe, the property features stylish accommodations that are modern yet comfortable and unpretentious.
Well-appointed one and two-bedroom vacation rental suites provide separate living areas, well-equipped kitchenettes, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi and flat-screen LCD TVs.
We love Pulse’s location at the bustling Gaslamp Quarter with nearby Balboa Park (San Diego Zoo) and other famous attractions, not to mention the picturesque waterfront just a few blocks away.
Check out SHAKE, San Diego Pulse’s signature restaurant and bar, and stay fit in the modern, 24-hour fitness center.
