Situated in the lush, tropical, jungle-y terrain of Ocho Rios in Jamaica’s Saint Ann Parish, Couples Tower Isle exudes chic sophistication with Caribbean sensuality.
The all-inclusive adults-only resort features 226 rooms and suites, six restaurants and bars, four swimming pools, four Jacuzzis, its own private ‘au naturel’ island with a pool and swim-up bar, and an Oasis spa. In the 1950s, the property was quite the playground for Hollywood celebrities. Today, the luxury resort still seduces guests with breathtaking sea views, wide sandy beaches and century-old palms.
About Ocho Rios
One of Jamaica’s best-known resort towns, Ocho Rios is famous for its waterfalls, beaches, cruise tourism, rainforest excursions and easy access to outdoor adventures.
Though the area is more developed and tourism-oriented than quieter coastal towns like Port Antonio, Ocho Rios feels greener and much more outdoorsy compared with Montego Bay.
Resort Accommodations
Everything feels airy, beachy, laid-back and romantic here. It’s no wonder couples walk around arm in arm with smiles on their faces. It’s a quieter resort with a gorgeous lobby and geared toward honeymooners, anniversary celebrations, and relaxation rather than attracting the party vibe crowd.
Couples Resort Tower Isle offers a myriad of deluxe garden rooms, deluxe ocean guest rooms with balconies, junior suites, one bedroom ocean suites, and villas. My premiere ocean guest room featured glorious views of the Caribbean Sea along with an unobstructed Tower Isle view.
Rooms are tastefully decorated in simple island beach themes with rattan furnishings and rugs, and a calming color palate of tan, turquoise, and yellows. Baths are equally welcoming.
All-Inclusive Offerings

There are all-inclusive packages and then there’s Couples Resort Tower Isle offerings. Beyond accommodations and unlimited food and drinks including premium alcohol, rates often reflect complimentary airport transfers, snorkeling, scuba diving, catamaran cruises, golf green fees, and excursions to island attractions.
Dining at the Resort
For a relatively small venue by Jamaica’s resort standards, Couples offers an impressive number of dining options. The resort makes it easy for guests by posting daily menus in the lobby area.
Bayside features Asian cuisine at dinner with selections covering spring rolls, Pad Thai, and banana-leafed snapper by romantic candlelight overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The Verandah offers continental dinner fare in an open-air Caribbean chic space, overlooking the magnificent ocean and Tower Isle.
Eight Rivers features upscale fine-dining with Caribbean-influenced continental cuisine. This is often called the ‘date night’ restaurant as it requires reservations and dressier attire. Patio Restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner serves rotating buffet-style offerings and is known for its Jamaican nights’ events.

Those looking for a more casual option can dine at Pool Grill, with burgers, jerk chicken, pizza, sandwiches, fries and late-night food. Veggie Bar features lighter lunch healthy food options with smoothies, wraps, salads, veggie sandwiches and hummus. Java Café serves deeply flavorful Blue Mountain coffee drinks, along with pastries and snacks throughout the day. Guests can also order 24-hour room service dining.
Resort Activities
A surprisingly large number of activities are included in Couples Tower Isle all-inclusive rate— especially watersports and excursions. It’s one of the resort’s biggest selling points. Guests have access to unlimited scuba diving (for certified divers), intro scuba lessons for beginners, snorkeling tours, glass-bottom boat rides, kayaking, paddleboarding, and Hobie Cat sailing. Other included activities feature windsurfing, hydro bikes, water skiing, wakeboarding, knee boarding and pool volleyball.
Land options offer unlimited golf (green fees and transportation included), tennis, racquetball, pickleball, squash, table tennis, fitness center access, dance, aquacise and meditation classes and massage workshops for couples.
Excursions and Entertainment

Once again, the resort offers an impressive number of entertainment and excursion options. These include a sunset catamaran cruise, shopping shuttle, movie nights on the beach, piano sing-alongs, live entertainment and themed nights and access to the resort’s private offshore island Tower Isle with its au naturel beach, pool, swim-up bar and lunch service.
For an additional fee, resort guests can choose from 14 tours and island excursions that include swimming with dolphins at Dolphin Cove, luminous lagoon boat experiences, Green Grotto, a world of lush greens and magical caves, horseback riding and zip lining, Blue Mountain biking, fishing, Calypso and Martha Brae rafting, a visit to the Dunn’s River Falls, and a Kingston tour that includes the iconic Bob Marley museum. Most of these excursions take place under direct Caribbean sun, so polarized sunglasses are one of those small packing decisions that make a noticeable difference across a full day outdoors. With its balance of romance, relaxation, and adventure in a beautiful Caribbean setting, Couples Tower Isle is perfect for a Jamaican beach getaway.
